Episode 1: I call them shoes, Dorothy calls them chews
There’s a definite whiff of hot dog sausage in the air. It’s no surprise, as I’m currently getting through about a packet a week, trying to stop Dorothy destroying our home and its contents as she indulges in one of her favourite hobbies: chewing.

It feels like no new year has ever been so heartily welcomed as this one (or rather, no old year as readily ditched as the last) but, sadly, we set off into 2021 with headlines reporting that hundreds of pets acquired during the COVID pandemic are being handed in to rescues shelters or advertised for resale online.
At Mars Petcare, our Purpose is to create a #betterworldforpets. Earlier this year, we proudly supported the UK government’s ‘Petfished’ campaign, complementing ‘Lucy’s Law’, which aims to tackle the illegal or low-welfare supply of pets. It raises awareness of dishonest sellers and encourages would-be pet parents to ask ‘Who’s the person behind the pet?’ so that potential pet-buyers can buy their new pet from a trustworthy source.

In May, the first national study on Hispanics and their health was released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).The surprising results showed that Hispanics are generally healthier and have a longer life expectancy than non-Hispanic whites, though we do have some areas to grow in.
