IFPA Certified Personal Trainer, Women’s Fitness Specialist

Marissa, Owner of Garage Mama Fitness & Trinity Sports Performance, is an IFPA Certified Personal Trainer, Women’s Fitness Specialist. She is a mom with three children, who all have busy athletic schedules. She knows that hectic schedules can cause us to neglect our own nutrition, and cause us to feel too tired to take care of ourselves.

She has developed healthy nutritious recipes and meal plans to help her clients and their children succeed on their health and fitness journey. This includes the G-mama fitness bar, G-muffins and cooking classes to help families stay on track during the week. She is developing her web series of cooking and fitness training videos to help guide everyone to feel fabulous and look great. Families need to fuel themselves properly and support each other to stay on track. Mood swings, behavior issues and depression, can be associated with what you are or aren’t putting into your body. “If we take a little time each week to prepare, plan and pack it up, we will develop great eating habits and we can feel energized all day”, says Marissa. Nutrition is the foundation of health and wellness, and it the most important aspect of feeling energized, focused and motivated. “We all know, if mommy doesn’t feel good, no one else feels good. So, be a bit selfish and take care of yourself, and you will be able to empower others around you, develop great habits, and conquer your fitness goals”.
