CEO/Founder, Latinas Contra Cancer

Latinas Contra Cancer (LCC) was founded to address the void in culturally and linguistically sensitive programs that meet the health care needs of Latinos around issues of cancer.

They are incorporated in California, based in Silicon Valley, but work to link services nationwide. They provide cancer health education, patient navigation and psychosocial family support group services targeting the underserved and low income, Spanish speaking.

Their website includes a wealth of information for cancer patients and health care providers, an on-line index of cancer education materials, as well as resources and referrals to cancer related sites nationwide. They welcome imput, collaboration and articles in English and Spanish related to cancer treatment, research and resources. executivedirector@latinascontracancer.org
