Why I do it

It’s exciting to help people get their first position after graduating college as a veterinarian. They’re often not sure how everything works. I love being able to support them and hearing the excitement when they accept their first job offer.

My Big Career Moment

I’m drawn to companies committed to community. Earlier in my career I won an award for my volunteer work with the Oregon Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It felt good to be acknowledged for something beyond what I was paid to do.

Marisa studied international communications and business at the University of Oregon, along with Spanish, history, culture, and art history at la Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro and the Interamerican University Studies Institute in Queretaro, Mexico.
