In the 90s, the singer and Grease star successfully overcame her own battle with breast cancer, and she has since used the experience to gain greater self-awareness and become a positive inspiration to the millions of people battling cancer. As a breast cancer “thriver”, Olivia talks openly about her battle with breast cancer to promote public awareness of the importance of early detection. Her personal triumph over cancer led to the creation of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre (ONJCWC) in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia. “I am committed and excited about educating and encouraging women to take a positive role in their breast health,” says Olivia.
