This is one of those lessons you wish you knew at the beginning of your career – when you felt so invincible.

As you get older and wiser, you realize that there was never really a time when anything about your career was certain. Your career and the people you meet throughout your journey are constantly changing and evolving. The only thing that is certain is change itself. When you learn that there are no guarantees in life, you begin to see through a lens that forces you to create opportunities yourself, rather than depend on others to create opportunities for you.
