Sindy grew up in Montebello California with her mom and brother and attributes the adversities and struggles associated with growing up in a single parent household as invaluable lessons that have served her through her entire life to include lessons about the importance of family, friends, community, humility, faith and hard work.

Sindy started her career working for a privately held staffing and recruiting agency that specialized in the placement of logistics , administrative and manufactory professionals. Sindy then went on to lead a team of recruiters for a private staffing agency that specialized in the placement of niche technical healthcare professionals. During her time with the staffing company, Sindy created a new revenue stream for the organization by building out a robust portfolio of new clients  resulting in a new organization being created. After spending several years in the staffing and agency space, Sindy went on to work for a large  cancer research and treatment center where she held multiple positions to include HR Strategic Partner. 

In the Spring of 2016, Sindy moved to Washington to join Banfield Pet Hospital. In her current role, as member of the Talent Acquisition leadership team and P&O Management team; she is  responsible for the delivery of operational excellence and best in class recruitment solutions to deliver on the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and (CTS) Central Team Support talent supply initiatives across the enterprise supporting over 1000 hospital locations.  Sindy is a Southern California native who now resides in Washington with her wife Andrea and their furry family members;  Martini and Princess.  Sindy holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a master degree in organizational management from Ashford University. Sindy’s future aspirations include becoming a mom and becoming a Chief Human Resources Officer one day!
